  • Ruby on Rails - minimal debian installation running two Ruby on Rails blogs (Typo), lighttpd, Apache2 + DAV_SVN, Mysqld, Postfix with IMAP, Spamassassin, fetchmail, and procmail. 101MB of RAM used.
  • Debian Sid running the lightweight Cherokee webserver hosting around four sites, some of them running Jaws (a PHP4 application) which uses MySQL. It also hosts a Postfix mailserver with SpamAssassin, fetchmail and procmail and the Dovecot IMAP server with SSL support. It also hosts a Debian package builder used by a couple of Debian maintainers.
  • Debian Sid running Apache2, hosting a Koha 2.2.7 implementation, as well as a Keystone DL from Indexdata and a development version of our own ILS system. It also hosts the sign-up system for the venezuelan 3rd. Free Software Congress -- a Catalyst application with a MySQL backend.

[edit] UM4

TekTonic - We use VPS for almost everything in our company. Our websites, DNS and mail servers, billing system -- everything is hosted on a VPS. This allows us easy backup procedures, less hardware to worry about, easy migration between nodes in event of load spikes, etc. It would be difficult to determine our load, but we would most likely have 3 UM2 accounts, 4 UM4 accounts to handle everything required for our backend.
