Free DNS hosting

Welcome to EveryDNS.net -- our project to provide free dns services to the internet community.
We provide static DNS services as well as many advanced services such as Dynamic DNS resolution, Secondary service, AXFR service, and domain2web redirection.
Since our start in June of 2001 we have proved to be a reliable and secure service and we have no intention of changing that. A $15-$30 dollar donation is appreciated to help our services grow and improve. Thank you for your support of this free service.

Another provider of free DNS is zoneedit. Up to 5 zones can be hosted for free unless your domains create a VERY high traffic on their DNS servers.
Another free provider based in France is Xname.org. The service is completely free (even if donation is possible). Their interface is both in french and english.
Afraid/FreeDNS is another free DNS service. They have four nameservers (in the same netblock, however) and provide a nice Web interface. They provide DDNS support through specially crafted URIs, and their services are completely free. I've been using them for more than a year now, they've had two or three severe downtimes (like a day or so) -- so I'd advise to have them as your first NS for your domain and get anything else in a backup DNS.
Another great provider which lets you host two domains for free is DNS Park. They offer geographically redundant DNS servers and a really nice online interface, with basic web forwarding, etc.
